Product Details
Broad-spectrum control of hard-to-kill weeds. Estate is a low-rate formulation that tackles bindii and white clover effectively across warm and cool-season turf, with reduced drift risk.
Overview
Estate combines three active ingredients to deliver powerful, broad-spectrum control of the toughest lawn weeds. Its low-rate formulation reduces application volume and drift risk, making it suited to residential properties where precision matters.
Active Ingredients
MCPA 300 g/L (present as the potassium salt); Clopyralid 20 g/L (present as the potassium salt); Diflufenican 15 g/L
Classification: Selective post-emergent herbicide (non-ester formulation). Safe on a range of warm- and cool-season turf species.
Controls
Estate provides effective control of persistent broadleaf weeds, particularly species that resist other herbicides.
- Bindii (Soliva sessilis)
- White Clover (Trifolium repens)
- Other broadleaf weeds
Application Rate
| Area to Treat | Product Dose | Water | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|

How to Apply
- Choose a calm, dry day with temperatures between 10–25°C.
- Apply when weeds are actively growing, typically at the 3–6 leaf stage for maximum effectiveness.
- Mix Estate with water according to the rate above. Use a pressure sprayer for even coverage.
- Spray all weed foliage until wet but not dripping. Complete leaf coverage is essential for herbicide uptake.
- Avoid mowing during the 3 to 4 days preceding or following treatment.
- Complete weed death may take up to 6 weeks. Faster results can be expected on smaller weeds.
Important Information
- Timing: Apply spring through autumn when weeds are actively growing. Avoid winter application when growth is minimal.
- Rain: Do not use if rain is expected within 4 hours. This governs when to spray — the label sets no drying time after application.
- Mowing: Avoid mowing during the 3 to 4 days preceding or following treatment.
- Grass types: Safe on Buffalo, Kikuyu, and other warm-season turf. Test a small area first on cool-season varieties.
- Drift risk: Non-ester formulation reduces volatility and drift. Apply on calm days to protect nearby sensitive plants.
- Repeat applications: Most weeds require only one application. Re-treat only if regrowth warrants it.
- Over-seeding: Due to residual effects of diflufenican, over-seeding treated areas within 3 months of application may inhibit establishment of the turf grass.
Regulatory Information
APVMA Registration: 95166/144840
Withholding Period: Do not graze treated turf, or feed turf clippings from any treated area to poultry or livestock.
Re-entry Interval: Do not allow entry into treated areas until the spray has dried.
