Overview

Contra M Duo combines MCPA and Dicamba in a low-odour amine formulation, delivering powerful two-way systemic weed control. It works through both leaf and root uptake to achieve complete weed death, making it the practical choice for residential lawn care.

MCPA 340 g/L; Dicamba 80 g/L

Classification: Selective post-emergent herbicide (Group I systemic). Low-odour amine formulation.

How to Apply

1. Choose a calm, dry day with temperatures between 10–25°C.
2. Apply when weeds are actively growing, typically at the 2–6 leaf stage for fastest results.
3. Mix Contra M with water according to the rate above. Stir well before application.
4. Spray all weed foliage until wet but not dripping. Thorough coverage ensures complete uptake.
5. Do not mow turf for 2 days before or after application, or fertilise within two weeks of spraying.
6. Apply to actively growing weeds and moist soil. The label states no speed of kill for turf.

Important Information

• Timing: Apply spring through autumn when weeds are actively growing. Winter application is less effective when growth slows.
• Rain: Do not spray when rain seems likely to occur within 4 hours. Do not spray when weeds are wet with dew or rain, or under stress from drought, low soil fertility, extreme cold or waterlogging.
• Mowing and feeding: Do not mow turf for 2 days before or after application, or fertilise within two weeks of spraying.
• Grass types: Do not use on Buffalo grass, Lippia or Strawberry Clover. For buffalo lawns use Bow & Arrow instead.
• Odour: Low-odour amine formulation reduces unpleasant smell compared to ester herbicides.
• Repeat applications: The label states no repeat interval for turf.
