Lawn Protection
Stop problems before they start. Weed, pest, disease and pre-emergent solutions for year-round defence, chosen so each one matches a specific problem rather than being a general-purpose spray. Read the approved label before you apply anything here.

Prevention runs on a calendar, not on symptoms
Almost everything that goes wrong in a lawn is easier to prevent than to repair, and timing is what decides which of those two jobs you end up doing. A pre-emergent has to be spread and watered in weeks before the weed seed moves — once a weed is visible, the one thing that product does is already behind you. Grub control works best while larvae are small and feeding near the surface, not after the patches have appeared and the roots are gone.
Miss those windows and you are into a different product, a longer recovery, and a lawn that has to grow back into the gaps. That is the whole argument for a preventative program over a reactive one.
Where to start
Work out which problem you actually have before choosing a product, because a herbicide, an insecticide and a fungicide are not interchangeable and none of them fixes a lawn that is struggling for another reason. Our guides to pre-emergents and lawn grubs cover the two most commonly mistimed jobs, and a Lawn IQ plan places each application against your suburb rather than a national average.
