How billing works

This is a subscription. Here is what you are agreeing to before you start.

Your first payment is different to the ones after it

Your first payment covers your opening delivery, which carries more product than a typical quarter, plus any equipment on your plan (charged once and never again). Every payment after it is the ongoing amount shown on your plan.

It renews automatically until you stop it

Quarterly plans charge the ongoing amount every 3 months, with no minimum term. Annual plans charge once a year, still deliver quarterly, and run for a committed 12 months. Both renew automatically at the end of a term unless you tell us not to. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Quarterly: cancel any time with 7 days' notice. Annual: a committed 12 months

On a quarterly plan, cancel in your account at any time. Cancelling more than 7 days before your next payment stops that payment, and your plan runs to the end of the term you have already paid for. Inside the last 7 days we have already committed your next delivery's stock, so that term still ships and bills and your plan ends after it. You always receive every term you are charged for. An annual plan is different: it is a committed 12-month term paid up front, so all four deliveries are sent and charged and it cannot be cancelled part way through. In return the price is locked for the whole term. You can decline the next term at renewal, and the 30-day return window below is the only way out before then.

We tell you before the price changes

Your plan is normally re-priced once a year, at renewal, to reflect what your lawn needs and what those products cost. If the price goes up we email you 28, 21 and 14 days beforehand, so you always have longer than the 7-day cancellation window to decide. A renewal we could not notify you about in time is not increased. If we ever need to change the price between renewals, you get at least 30 days' written notice first, and if you cancel inside that time you are never charged the new price.

Change your mind within 30 days of a delivery

You have 30 days from the day a delivery arrives (not from the day you ordered) to ask us for a return. Those 30 days are for your request, not for the goods to reach us. Products need to be unopened, unused, undamaged and in resaleable condition. Return postage is at your cost, and a 20% restocking fee comes off what we refund for the goods you send back. We refund once the parcel reaches us and we have checked it. Anything you paid for that has not been dispatched is refunded in full. The 20% is never charged on a delivery you never received. Opened chemical products cannot be returned; contact us first rather than posting them. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

None of this affects your rights if something is wrong

If something arrives faulty, damaged, unsafe, not as described, or is simply the wrong item, the change-of-mind rules above do not apply: there is no restocking fee, we pay the return freight, and you get a repair, replacement or refund. These are your guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, they cannot be excluded, and they apply to discounted and sale items exactly as they do to anything else.
