Acelepryn GR Granular Lawn Insecticide

Overview

Acelepryn GR controls lawn grubs and damaging surface-feeding insects for up to 3 months from a single application. Targets the nervous system of the pest species named on the label.

Active Ingredients

Chlorantraniliprole 2 g/kg

Acelepryn GR protects against both root-feeding larvae and surface-feeding insects that can turn healthy turf patchy and weak.

How to Apply

1. Apply Acelepryn GR evenly over the lawn using a broadcast or handheld spreader.
2. Best applied when pests are laying eggs (typically late spring and early autumn) or when young larvae are active.
3. Water in immediately with approximately 6 mm of rainfall or irrigation within 48 hours to move the product into the soil where larvae feed.
4. Protection builds over 7–10 days as the product reaches peak efficacy.
5. Protection lasts up to 3–5 months depending on pest pressure and weather.

Important Information

• Timing: Apply in late spring (Sept–Oct) and early autumn (Feb–March) when beetles and weevils are most active, or when you observe pest damage emerging.
• Activation: Must be watered in within 48 hours with at least 6 mm irrigation or rainfall. Granules work in soil, not on foliage.
• Mowing: May mow before or after application. No mowing restrictions.
• Grass types: Safe on all lawn grass types including couch, kikuyu, buffalo, and ryegrass.
