Grow Bot is The Lawn IQ's lawn care plan builder. Tell it five things about your lawn — the turf variety, the area in square metres, how much sun it gets, how hard it gets used, and your suburb — and it builds a plan for that lawn instead of a generic product bundle.

Your suburb sets the climate. Grow Bot reads local temperature data to work out the weeks your grass is actually growing, and puts each application in a week the lawn can use it. Turf variety and lawn area set the rest: which products, how much of each, and how often.

You end up with a dated application schedule, the products measured to match it — delivered in one order or as scheduled shipments — and a calendar you can share or subscribe to. The agronomy behind the rules comes from nearly four decades of family turf farming, seventeen of those years founder Hugo Struss’s own.
